SOUS CHEF (2nd Chef)

At the Eagle & Child, Staveley, we have a Sous Chef position available

The position will require a mix of daytime and evening shifts, week days and weekends. in an ever-evolving business, this is a great opportunity to be part of something special.

We are searching for a Sous Chef who will:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing and leading our restaurant team
  • Create and plan menus, including daily specials, with the Head Chef
  • Run the kitchen when the Head Chef is off.
    Be adaptable and introduce new ideas
  • Have experience in managing food budgets and inventories, and keeping within monthly targets
  • Maintain high standards in food storage, rotation, quality and appearance
  • Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations

 

Job: Full-time, Permanent position

Pay: £ Competitive, based on experience.
